Surrendering!

Matthew 15:32 starts with the Lord Jesus being compassionate for his listeners, which consisted of a multitude of  4,000+, because they hadn't eaten for three days.  He then asks his disciples: 'How many loaves have you got?'  The disciple's reply was basically:  'Just a few' (seven loaves of bread and a few little fishes)!  To which they did not hold back for themselves, but willingly gave to the Lord! With this little amount of food, the Lord multiplied it so much that he fed the whole multitude, and they did all eat, and were filled (V37). That was a miracle!

The disciples did not show any sign of selfishness!  They surrendered ALL to the Lord, and trusted Him with the outcome! Is this where you are?  Do you hear/feel the Lord asking 'What have you got'? Are you thinking to yourself: 'I only have a little bit, why is He asking me what I've got'?  Until we surrender everything to Him, He will be waiting and will not perform His mighty work, He cannot work His miracle! Will you let go and let God?  Trust Him for and in EVERYTHING!

Unto Jesus, I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
I surrender all, I surrender all,
Unto Thee my blessed Saviour
I surrender All!
All to Jesus I surrender
Lord I give myself to Thee
Fill me with Thy love and power
Let Thy blessing fall on me...

Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus!
